June 1, 2012

We have concluded the Monitoring Implementation Project for McKesson Corporation, which we begun in December of 2011.  During this project we have organized McKesson team and oversaw the implementation of BMC's BPPM suite of monitoring tools.  While working with McKesson IT and with BMC Professional Services, we have designed and implemented a number of standard and optional and custom modules, covering the monitoring of server hardware, server OS, SAN and NAS storage, Oracle databases, Web Logic software and other satellite technologies.  We have also formulated the path for further expansion of the monitoring tools.  As a part of our engagement, we have created and delivered a number of presentations to the senior management.  We are very happy to complete another project on-time and within budget.

 

December 19, 2011

McKesson Corporation asked us to engage in the Monitoring Implementation Project, which we have proposed as a part of our last engagement with them.  We will begin working with McK right after the New Years.  We are looking forward to sharing our expertise in BMC Patrol. 

 

December 2, 2011

We have finished our SaaS platform evaluation for McKesson Corporation.  During this project we have reviewed the server farm, multiple SAN and NAS storage clusters, monitoring and operational procedures, incident reports for the last two years and overall systems architecture.  We have proposed a number of recommendations, changes and enhancements to all of the above, and delivered a well-received presentation to the senior management. We are very pleased with the results of this condensed project.

McKesson Corporation, for whom we have done work in the past, reached out to us to aid them in the process of determining the causes of multiple defects on one of their SaaS platforms.  We will be analyzing the hardware and software design and the operational practices utilized in support of this important cloud environment.

Time Warner has retained us in an advisory role for the duration of vendor selection.  We are excited to lend our extensive expertise in this selection process.

We have completed our RFP for Time Warner.  This was a very time-condensed project.  We have delivered the RFP on time, and are very pleased with the results.

We have completed our design for Comcast.  During the project we have evaluated potential platforms based on Sun, Neteeza, Exadata, Linux, HP and EMC technologies, made our recommendations and proposed a scalable solution which does not only address the needs of the data warehouse, but also optimizes the design of all of the auxiliary production and developmental systems interacting with the data warehouse.

Comcast of Philadelphia reached to us to help them with a design of a data warehouse platform to replace their rapidly aging production environment.  We are very pleased to work with Comcast again.

 

November 19, 2010

Our ITIL readiness project for Community Health Systems is complete. We have interviewed over 50 key IT employees, tabulated and scored their answers and prepared and delivered a presentation to the senior management.

We have completed our long-term design and implementation project for Innophos.  We have designed and implemented a new production platform with unified storage, a mirror image for disaster recovery purposes and a development platform.  We have used technologies from Sun, Oracle, VMware, CISCO and Computer Associates.  The new platform is powerful, cost effective, resilient  and expandable  We are quite proud of our accomplishments during this engagement.

We have implemented the hardware platform for Innophos' ERP application, consisting of a SUN M-class server running a number of SOLARIS' containers (zones) and a dedicated 7000-class SUN's Unified Storage frame.  We are pleased to announce that Innophos retained us to implement a Disaster Recovery system for their ERP consisting of a mirror-image of the production platform.

Innophos of Cranbury, NJ asked us to aid them in the implementation of the new ERP platform.  We are very excited to have the opportunity to put our design from our previous project for Innophos in place. 

 

March 13, 2009

Our project of designing infrastructure for new JD Edwards Enterprise One platform for Innophos was completed on time and within budget.  In addition to designing the new platform, we have proposed a number of improvements, enhancements and  optimizations chiefly to the networks and systems located in Mexico.  If implemented, these optimizations would allow Innophos to substantially reduce operational expenses.

 

January 5, 2009

We are very happy to announce that Innophos, for whom we have done work in the past, retained us for an infrastructure project for a new ERP system.  We will be designing a new hardware platform, communication network and some peripheral systems for a JD Edwards Enterprise One installation covering Innophos' operations in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

 

October 10, 2008

We have completed the deployment of EMC's ADM at McKesson Corporation and collected and interpreted the data.  We are pleased to announce that the ADM technology from EMC works according to it's advertised capabilities and is stable and powerful.

McKesson Corporation retained us for a project of deploying EMC's ADM in their Data Centers to discover, inventory and catalogue their server and networking assets.  We will utilize both passive and detail ADM's discovery capabilities working with ADM versions 5.3 and 6.0.

We have completed our engagement with AmerisourceBergen on time and within budget.  We interviewed Subject Matter Experts, gathered and organized information based on which we created a map of Order-To-Cash applications running on mainframe, AS/400 and various RISC and Windows platforms depicting over 100 application modules and their interfaces.

Our COMCAST data warehouse infrastructure project was delivered - again, on time and within budget.  We have designed a new SUN Solaris and Oracle hosting platform, a new hosting facility and a number of previously unspecified satellite SUN and Windows server platforms.

We have completed our engagement with BISYS during which we proposed a new organizational structure of Shared Infrastructure Services including new departments of System Engineering, Advanced Systems Support, Systems Administration, Operations, Help Desk, Network Operations Control and Desktop Support.  We are happy to announce that the new structure, implementation timeline and implementation project plan were approved and that we delivered another project on time and within budget.

We have completed our work for George Washington University.  We have proposed a strategy, project roadmap, project timeline and a presentation to the Board of Directors for GWU's new Centrally Managed Desktops initiative  -  all of which were approved and accepted.

Our Active Directory migration project review for Psychiatric Solutions was completed with us suggesting several modifications and enhancements to the migration methodology and a successful migration of three pilot sites.

We are excited to announce a win for a project for George Washington University in Washington, DC.  We will work with GWU on their strategy of implementation of centrally managed desktops across their entire 10,000 user population.

Fifth and final phase of our project for Innophos was completed.  During this long-term project, we have analyzed their existing IT environment, inclusive of all Windows, Unix and AS/400 applications, designed brand new server and telecommunication infrastructures, conducted  and managed an RFP process for selecting a company to outsource Innophos' data-center hosting, help-desk, server and operating systems support and designed data, server and communication migration methodology.  We are pleased to announce that we have delivered this complex project on time and within budget.

Our ONE-IT Initiative project for Georgia Pacific was completed.  We have analyzed GP's Data Centers operations and their storage and server platforms capabilities.  We have formulated long-range strategies in these areas creating project documentation and CTO's presentation to the CIO and CEO.

We are pleased to announce a win of a project for Georgia Pacific of Atlanta, GA.  We will be helping them formulate their unified approach to managing their diversified IT production technologies in multiple Data Centers for the ONE-IT Initiative ran by their Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

We have completed our engagement with ChoicePoint during which we audited their IT due-diligence process of their Mergers and Acquisitions initiatives.  We have prepared and overview of industry's best practices in the IT M&A arena and proposed several changes and enhancements to their existing process.  All of our recommendations were accepted.
